Why are these B-stock?
These PC units have some machine marks and/or uneven polishing on the polycarbonate. These marks are mainly on the interior surfaces, but due to the transparent material, they may be visible when built. This usually looks like a slight increase in the "cloudiness" of the material on some areas.

What are threaded inserts?
These are small threaded steel plugs that are fitted into the top case. This will prevent screw threads from wearing out after multiple reassemblies and make the case much more resilient to cracking from over-tightening the case screws. If you don't have a strong aesthetic preference for not using inserts, we recommend choosing the variant with the inserts.
